Who ARE these people?!
You are going to make me break out the black nail polish, red tartan miniskirt and spiderweb arm tights if you keep this up.
But all is not well in McDreamyland
Patrick Dempsey was reportedly attacked by fellow castmate Isaiah Washington (Dr. Preston) after the pair got into a heated exchange on the set of Grey's Anatomy. The supposed "long-simmering fued" was brought to a head on Monday during an argument over other cast members being late. According to the report, Washington is jealous of Dempsey. A witness explains the scene:
"What are we waiting on?" said Isaiah.
"Not me," said Patrick. "I'm always ready."
"At that point," said the source, "Isaiah said something mean to T.R. Knight" (who plays mild-mannered Dr. George O'Malley).
"That's when Patrick told Isaiah, 'Pick on somebody your own size.'
"Well, that did it. Isaiah became enraged and grabbed Patrick by the throat and shoved him back a few feet.
"Dr. McDreamy [Dempsey's nickname] almost landed in McDreamland."
When Knight demanded that the pair break it up, the source says, "Isaiah called him a bitch. Isaiah stormed off to his trailer to cool off, while Patrick and T.R. stood there in disbelief.
Plus, T.R. is gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) but it may explain his attraction to Callie.
Gray...you have cracked it...George and Finn what a great couple!!!
Shelley these people are scaring me...kinda live missionaries at the door.
So...what does everyone want from Paris?
Mind Doc...I think it's a clip from the Lawrence Welk Show (which...I have to totally admit to watching...I loving).
I about choked when I saw this...and thought...mmmm...gotta post THAT shit.
---
Geesh, Gray...I knew about the fight, but not the details. It sounds like they were all pretty bitchy.
About T.R...Bama left me a voicemail about that last night. My jaw DROPPED. Then I rolled my eyes and had to laugh that he was my pick for dreambabe....Ha.
About Callie...I think everyone knows how much I loathe her.
However...
She had the best line last night when she told McSteamy..."You were sexier when you didn't speak."
ROFLMAO
OOOO....Shrew...from Paris?
Um...some real, honest-to-goodness French Fries.
(just kidding)
I want you to have a blast! That's what I want. :)
(oh...and to take a picture at the top of the Eiffel Tower of you in your Monkbot shirt.) ;P
Shrew,
Can you bring me Philippe when you are done with him? Thank-you!
Sincerely,
Squee
Shelley...you bet...MonkBot packed.
Squee, what faith you have to think that I will ever cease to need Philippe.
anybody else having problems getting on grays's site???
heyhowyadoin.....yes Gray's site is down at the moment.
Sheesh, I thought I was the only one havin' trouble gettin onto GC.....
Hi all.
thanks squeebee
Er ... know NOTHING about Grey's Anatomy. I've read the book, though. :)
My loyalty belongs to Dr. House, who for the time being is on hiatus while baseball is on.
I will, however, entertain suggestions as to which team to root for now that both NY teams are officially out.
Ivory -- high five to House! Me, too. I do not do Grey's Anatomy and am totally out of the loop. No guilty pleasures on TV right now. Sigh. It is very sad.
Shrew, when do you leave?
So y'all don't even watch "Men in Trees"?
What a shame.
Mind doc my bro-inlaw drops me off at the airport at 6-ish...I land tomorrow around 11:30 AM
Still packing now...second "edits"
Listening to tunes while packing...and came across something from my Paste Mag sampler...King Straggler's "I am a good man"...anyone know it...caugt me off gaurd with the old school country vocal and the jangly skittle beats. I can't say I like it yet, but it certainly caught my attention.
shrew...have a great time
I second that, Shrew...have fun, baby! ;)
And be careful.
And drink great wine.
And eat good food.
And take lots of pictures.
And flirt shamelessly with the French men.
And wear a beret...at least once. ;)
Viva la Paris! Viva la Shrew!
Thank you all for your well wishes...I will miss the zany antics of you all.
Oh on a sad note...MonkBot t-shirt was gianormous and didn't make the "second edit"...but as luck would have it...MonkBot Button was purchase and is now snuggly seated in with my camera.
Viva Le MonkBot.
Shrew - Bonnes vacances! Nibble a pain au chocolat for me. I got within 50 miles of Paris as a teenager, but the little kids in the family I was staying with on my school exchange got bored on the journey and pleaded with their parents, " Not Paris AGAIN...can we go to the Chocolate factory at Blois instead?" All eyes turned to me, as the guest. Had to do the polite thing and agree to please the kids. Sigh. Have a really fabulous time! Take a boat trip down the Seine, as a backdrop to the pain au chocolat.
Well, I have never seen "Grey's Anatomy" either, and have only glimpsed a few minutes of "House" on the end of a kindly gifted dvd of one of the AI shows. It was the one where he is shot by a hit-man on behalf of a crazy patient. He fell to the floor, and the dvd ended....it was a traumatic moment. Mind Doc - what happened to him? Am guessing he lived...I love Hugh Laurie.
Hospital dramas are my favourite tv shows. Fingers are slowly edging towards the boxed set of videos of the second series of "ER", or perhaps the knock-off dvd of the last series of "Nip/Tuck" I bought from Ebay, a week before the final episode. Could not wait to find out who the "Carver" was...Gak. So, for anyone else who watched "Nip/Tuck"...
Christian or Sean?
Since this is kind of a hodgepodge disucssion (and I don't mean to impeded Rowan's discussion of medical dramas) I had to post a link to an article I just read about the dying of the television theme song...a topic we touched on the other day.
Pretty good write-up. I know I miss the fun of old theme songs...like the theme to "One Day at a Time," which I posted a link to on SendSpace and no one downloaded...glares accusingly. Seriously, the song is fun...you should download it.
Shelley, I am _still_ singing
C'mon and Zoom Zoom Zooma, Zoom
C'mon and a Zooma Zooma Zooma Zoom
C'mon, give it a tryyyyy"...
Have pity.
One Day at a Time was just too dysfunctional to be escapist fare.
(House lived, btw -- with a twist!)
Shrew! Have a wonderful, wonderful time. Make us proud -- plant the flag for the Monkbot Division in Paree! Do at least one thing that you reallly want to do. And maybe one thing you shouldn't.
Mind Doc...you can be sure of both!
Grey's was kinda meh for me this week. Izzie and her "I'm fines" were getting on my nerves! And I so wished that Bailey would have kicked that @sshole doctor in the shins for how he acted in that meeting.
Put another check in the House column for me. It's directly analogous to gray's blog:
You've got this guy in charge who's sharp, snarky, funny, sometimes direct, sometimes puzzling, always trying to make those around him think. Then you've got the supporting roles who are alternately befuddled, intimidated, and brilliant. And the underlying theme -- the bottom line -- is always about healing. Let the music make you whole.
I have watched Nip/Tuck and it's typically one of my favorite shows but I got distracted and didn't realize that I wasn't taping it arrrgghhh! I pick Sean because any sane person would since you know Christian is a ho. Pretty to look at though. My favorite guilty moment from last season was when the chick showed up and told Christian that she didn't mind wearing a bag over her head. Seriously, the show is evil. It ain't right. Not at all.
I like House too. Love it. Hate the way Fox suspends series due to baseball.
GA - I can barely remember the episode so it must not have been that interesting. The meeting with Bailey is comething I remember though. I still feel for her.
"This is it...this is life the one you get, so go and have a ball...while you're here, enjoy the view, keep on doing what you do, hold on tight we'll muddle through one day at a tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime...
Ok, check it. That was NOT after a download or looking at the lyrics. I haven't thought of that show in years. That was straight from my 14 year old, obsessed with Valerie Bertanelli head. (Who I still think Kat is the spittin' image of). I can seriously sing ANY theme song of that era perfectly, including: The Partridge Family (Come on everybody, it's a song that we're singing, we'll make you happppppppy), Here Come the Brides (The bluest skies you'll ever see in Seeaaaatttle), Alice (Early to bed, early to rise...) and Zoom, of course.
Oh the humanity! That's just - it's terrifying.
