The Two Creepiest Things I've Recieved Via E-Mail in a Long Time

My family...ah...what a bunch of weirdos.

My mother...bless her...loves to send me forwards. Though I've told her time and time again..."Mom, I delete all forwards...please don't send me any more"...she continues to do so. "I only send the ones I think you'll like, Shell," she says in that sweet mother voice of hers.

Well...I have to admit...on occasion...she hits the jackpot. This week, my mom sent me an e-mail filled with the picture above and the two below.

Mom...I still reserve the right to delete all forwards...but I have to give you credit for cracking me up on this one.

And if those people/fish...er...fish/people...weren't weird enough for ya...check out the link to YouTube my brother, Ben, sent me this week.

Creepy...but totally hilarious.

I'm glad I'm a part of this family of weirdos...because I fit in so well. Ha.

Man, people are so damn creative!! Those pictures are incredible!

That Mary Poppins thing is freaky! Amazing what some "horror movie" music can do, huh?!

That is so freaky! Made me think of "The Changeling." Somehow my brain processed the little wagon as being just like the possessed wheelchair in the movie.

(I went to hotlink a trailer from "The Changeling" for you, but was too scared to watch the whole thing. Besides, I didn't want to make Shrew start using a halogen worklight as her nightlight.)

But those were mad pictures! Love seeing how creative people can be. Maybe we can do the same thing with painted monkeys? :)

Where is Bama? I miss Bama...she would certainly have comment on the "fishes".

I am very freaked out by those pics. Made me woozy.

Shrew, any new Beau news?

We gonna have a kitty bbq pretty soon if some felines don't keep their paws off my Xmas tree.

I kid. I kid.

Let's just say Beau has been asserting himself. Toy one killed...and none to pleased with mommy for discarding the harmful traces. Therefore out of abject guilt mommy just went and bought biggie bones to make up for it. I am sure Beau will have much to write about this week!

Our cats thank us each year for the greatest Christmas gift of all -- the tree and all of the shiny baubles. Grrr.

That was wonderfully scaaary -- and I found the fish people more than a little disturbing. Not only for the images, which were cool/creepy, but because they actually thought of doing that. And had the time to do it.

I don't have time to iron, let alone paint myself green and finny.

Aww .. congratulations, Shrew! Can't wait to see a picture of Beau. Did that place in Sparta help you find Beau? Is the answer to that question somewhere in a thread I never saw?

Because, as you know, I spend waaay too little time reading blogs online.

Shelley- I always thought there was something creepy about Mary Poppins! That was genuis!

Those fish/people are freakin' weirding me out. Mostly b/c they have to be so close to each other...I certainly hope they brushed before this little photo shoot!

How 'bout you paint a monkey on your face...and Taylor can paint a robot on his...then you can come together to make a Monkbot!

P.S. Must talk "Heroes" tonight! BTW-did you know that Adrian Pasdar aka Nathan Petrelli, is married to Natalie Maines aka lead singer of The Dixie Chicks??? SO WEIRD!

Double D, I just read on GC that you haven't seen the great Monkbot live yet? No matter what we must send the Monkbot Copter to pick you up and deposit you at 1 of the concerts when he goes on tour. My daughter & I went to AI in Indy and then drove 300 miles to see him in West Virginia. We sat front row and actually got to touch him (ok , a little fangirly, but it was an unforgettable moment in my boring life!). OK, the fish people kind of freak me out. My daughter turned 18 this week and ran out and got a tattoo the day after. Hope she doesn't see this and get any ideas.

yep, lee, you gots it right. However, I'm betting on a performance at one of these venues, of which I WILL be there:

Monsoon's in Mobile
Soul Kitchen in Mobile
The Wharf in Orange Beach
The FloraBama (Mullet Toss)
House of Blues in New Orleans

Any, or possibly all and I'll be there.

Tried to revive the Dive Tour Thread over at Gray's but to no avail. What is up over there? They don't like me much. Do you guys still like me?

I'M STICKING BY DUCK TAPE, by dang.

The Dive Tour was the shit. That really was a good idea. I mean, it started out as kinda a joke, but turns out, it really would be perfect. Whoever thought it up is super smart. (hoping that was you, DD, and your shoulders and head have perked up by now)

Solid gold dancer down, Solid gold Dancer Down!

DD perk up old pal...MonkBots will always have this place.

Ok...thanks you's guys...I'm feelin' a bit bettah.

I'm gonna go home and use my Solid Gold Dancer Supah Moves to "Rock Around My Christmas Tree" to Runaround....while drinking a glass of wine....and batting cats.

That ought to do it.

....No more lovin' on the run...

Dive tour! Dive tour! I thought that was a great idea, too.

DD, you are not alone. I've never seen the great Monkbot live either. I'd bum a ride with you on that copter they're sending, but I have motion sickness and don't really want to put anyone through that - most especially not a fellow monkbot.

I am imagining you batting cats. You be bad cop, I'll be good cop and tell them to go hide there, under the grill cover. :)

I always wondered how legal it is to post some of those amazing emails we get delivered into our inbox. I received the same email.

I sometimes post the really interesting ones, but I am never sure about copyright.

Anyways, yes, this one is really weird.
