How deep is the deepest deep of all deeps that ever were deep?

That word gets weirder the more I look I at it.

Anyhow...my love is deep, y'all.

I heart Beatbox Blake and Chris Sligh.

The four of them really did a great job in picking a group. I gotta say, I would like to hear beat-box guy sing a little more before I decide on him as a favorite. He is very good at the beat-box stuff, but that doeasn't really translate across genres.

Is Chris Sligh the guy who looks like like a pre-diet Jack Osborne? They were good!

Squee- Blake sounds a lot like Jason Mraz....he has a great voice!

See a You Tube video of Blake Lewis here.

He beatboxes until about 1:30 minutes into the set. He also does a lot of distortional type stuff too. I thought it was awesome....very unique. And he's adorable.

Thanks for posting that, bama! You are correct about Blake sounding like Jason Mraz...I'm beginning to like him a lot, second to...

CHRIS! Sorry Simon, he is in no way one of the weaker singers. That guy has it going on and I can't wait to hear more from him.

I kinda don't know why Sundance made it through...well, ratings, a'course, but c'mon. At least we don't have to sit through a twisted Antonella/Thomas relationship on camera. Eww.

And if just one more person had performed "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman", I woulda driven a screwdriver into my cerebellum, I swear to God.

The only person to really stand out to me so far is beatbox guy. I like some of the others but not enough to remember what they performed or who they are. I gave up on not watching the show. Sad really. I like most of them ok.

I loooved the boyz -- that is what it is all about, performing for the joy of performing. Taking the opportunity to do something unexpected.

I am still bored by AI, this year, though. I am truly grateful for Tivo.

Hello everybody! Boy, I have a lot of reading to do to get caught up with the comments in the last, what? Twenty posts? Argh. I hate falling behind.

Loved that group performance of "How Deep Is Your Love." Chris Sligh is one of my favorites, but more for personality right now though, because I haven't heard much of his singing yet. Looking forward to hearing more than just a few seconds of him singing.

Please please please don't get me started on Sunflower Head.

I thought their group was the best, and I hope they go all the way. I was scared that the beatboxer wasnt gonna make it when they said you have to sing (and he had been beatboxing, but he did sing a little)
im still not seeing a standout as good as taylor (probably wont either)

They sounded ready to hit the road as is right now. Man, not bad for a short time rehearsing together. Yeah. I liked 'em, not hearting anyone quite yet...

Chris, Rudy, Blake, and Thomas... man, that was a killer performance. I tell ya, they should all should've worn fedora hats and matching tuxedos. That way, when they get to the part of the song, "...and its me you need to show....", they would throw their hats behind them and then groove to the beats!

Even without the hats, I find myself replaying their take on the song over and over in my mind. It just resonates that good. I wish they would come together either later on towards the end of the season or when the season is finished and made a full recording of that performance. Hey, I got a great name for their group... "The Fedora Four".... lol... :P
