UPDATE: After listening to her songs...I'm a little mixed. Maybe I just don't like her songs...but her voice gets a little grating at times...and her lyrics are little predictable and her performance a little stilted.

Thanks for digging this up, Shelley! I am a big fan of hers too. She doesn't have the typical AI "Pop" look, and her voice is kind of raw and edgy. Me likey!
I love the voice! I really hate lip rings, though. Detracts from the face and makes you stare at their lip. IMO
Wouldn't an all rocker final be really great?
Shelley - have just seen her audition, and thought she was very unusual and unaffected, which I liked. Agree with your comments on her voice being a bit "grating" though. I like the accompaniment, but yes - a little grating at times! Like her a lot though, in terms of the competition. I liked Jimbo a good deal too. He was mellow!
I know it's a little off topic, but I really love the song, "Forgiven Much" on Sean Michel's Myspace page. It is really beautiful.
